LWRC UCIW stock, can't remove from buffer tube?

Hi everyone,

Just received my LWRC UCIW kit, it looks and feels great. However I can’t get the stock off the buffer tube. The tried and true method of simply pulling the lever all the way out and pull it off isn’t working. Is this by design?

It has a bit of movement so I’d like to use some electrical tape to take care of the stock wobble, but this caught me off guard.

You have to pull the entire lever all the way down until the spring bottoms out, not just pull down on one side like you would on a standard M4 stock.
