A while back I saw a lower at a gun show that had what looked like some kind of octagon on it. the octagon was divided up and had every other section darkened. I can’t remember the name on it though, anyone have any ideas?
It looked similar to the NOVESKE logo, but was a complete octagon.
I have spent a good deal of time looking for this online but cannot find it.
This doesn’t exactly fit your description but I’ll give it a try. The only octagon or “stop sign” type marked lowers that I know of are SGW (Schuetzen Gun Works…the company that later set up Oly…the stop design on their lowers was dropped in '93 for the rampant lion logo you see on them today).
Octagon outline with SGW within a circle inside the stop sign. You might try a search for SGW or the complete name & see if you can find some pics to determine if this is what you remember it looking like.
Agree - early version of what became Olympic Arms.
BTW - such lowera are clearly “pre-ban” to guys trapped in bad states like New York - and they can often be sold for over $200 stripped (which will buy you 2 Essential Arms lowers).
