I’m planning on geting a troy 13" rail and i have a low profile gas block but its got the rail on top of it. Do you think it will clear it or should i buy a low profile gas block
if the rail on top of the gas block is the same height as the rail on the troy handguard, it won’t fit under it.
More information would be VERY helpful
Pics would help even more.
What gas block is it exactly, what company.
What model Troy rail is it exactly.
Why do you want a railed gas block under it anyway?
my blocks is armalite and its the one it canme with and the rail is Troy Industries TRX Extreme 13 Inch. I just dont want to buy another gas block if i dont have to. I haven’t gotten the rail yet so i cant check if it would fit
Take it and shave the rail off.
You can pick up a YHM low pro gas block for around 20 bucks.
I would shave the rail off it…if it was mine.
Personally I cant stand railed blocks. I cant see any purpose they serve
im with you all the way with you on that I think there stupid to have. I’m most likely going to grind it down
Just buy a Troy block for 35 bucks and you are good.
A guy I know had a UTG handguard with a railed block.
The handguard was dremeled out like the ones for a FSB to come through,by him and some other bubba. The railed gas block was seen through the hole. He liked it like that.
It was the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen.
It definitely won’t fit under the TRX Extreme rail if it has any kind of rail of its own. I have a pinned DD LP gas block and 13" TRX Extreme rail on my rifle and it clears wit no problem.
