Looks like they’re on GB for about a thousand bucks. Not a terrible street price given the components, but not cheap by any means.
No, not cheap, but slightly less than what it would cost to piece one together using LMT components. Still want one. But I have no funds for a few years…

Yes to all. Make sure your lower can legally be used to build a pistol, though.
what do i need to look for? i thought all lower is okay, and it’s dependent on barrel length <16"?
Might be an issue if it was built and sold as a rifle and not a pistol or sbr. Better to just buy a good used stripped or complete lower and build up from there. I’ve got a spare striiped lower I’d be willing to offload for a good price if interested. It’s a Cerro forge.

Start with the heaviest buffer: H3/H2. It will be ammo dependent/ if you run it with a can.
Yes, make sure the lower is stripped, or if complete, never assembled into a rifle configuration.

this guy selling this upper is offering to upgrade to colt socom heavy barrel for free. the description claims its better than the lmt mk18 barrel. is this true?
My 10.5 inch lmt is one of my favorite guns. Anyway good on them I guess for offering this. I thought they had been kinda going away from the civilian market as their product has been harder and harder to find over the last few years.
Now if they would make a 16 inch middy defender and actually sell the 20 inch a4 rifle they showed off at shot show years ago. They said it was for some special order. That one pisses me off as I really want one.
If you have an H2 buffer it should run without issue on most ammo. The really weak steel case stuff may be an issue.

That guy is a liar… The genuine article has the KAC RAS factory direct from LMT. He’s built a franken-upper and he’s trying to pass it off as the real $1300 deal from LMT.
In all fairness, he does not claim that it’s an LMT product. He just calls his product the exact same thing to dupe unwitting buyers.
I think it’s a good and smart package from LMT. I also feel that I could piece a Colt upper together to identical specs for about $1000 though.
