LED Conversion for M952 (Surefire Millenium)

The title is pretty self-explanatory: I’m curious if there’s a good LED conversion for the Surefire M95x (in this case, M952) light. I’d like to find one with 80+ lumens.

While there’s a lot of general discussion on LED conversions and such, I did a search through the forum and didn’t find any threads that discuss this model in particular, so if I’ve missed it I apologize in advance. I’ve heard some of the typical solutions don’t fit.

Appreciate any input, especially if anyone has any direct experience with this.

The standard 952 comes with a SF P60 (65 lumens) and/or a P61 (120 lumens) incandescent bulbs that can be used in conjunction with the IR cover. You can replace it with a SF P60L (LED 80 lumens). Understand that it can’t be used with the IR cover if IR is requierd.
Hope that helps.

I think you will need to buy the shock-isolation ring with the drop in. I think you want the M60LL to hit 80 lumens and IIRC it;ll maintain for about 8hrs.

The P60L is just a drop it. No muss, no fuss.

Try TNVC’s conversion http://tnvc.com/items/illumination_tools/tnvc_tx4_conversion_head.html

Thanks, all! Welcome any further input people have.

I’m using a Solarforce LC-1 R2 P60 lamp in my Surefire 6P for the last 6 months. I can’t say enough good things about it. The run time on my batteries has easily tripled and the throw is pretty impressive for such a small flashlight. It’s easily over 80 lumens. I bought mine from Lighthound. You can’t beat the price.
