Do you run a charging handle latch extender? I’m looking between a wilson combat and utg. I’m open to suggestions. I’m just looking for something that isn’t going to break, something of good quality.
Go with a BCM Gunfighter Mod 3 (large latch) model Complete charging handle. It is a modified version that is much stronger for use with Extended latches.
well if you want quality UTG is definately not going to be recommended… Wilson is quality, and so is BCM
My GAP-10 runs a Badger Ordance they are good to go as well.
Wilson is quality, but a larger latch only puts MORE undo stress on the already weak design of a stock CH, so the BCM or a Raptor CH would be a much stronger design for extended use.
BCM all the way. Stay away from UTG.

I run a mod 4. Its the medium size and I really like it. I did however just get the ambi mod 4 and will run it in my new Noveske build
I run a BCM Mod 5 and LMT Tac latch. I found anything larger snags on my gear way to easily.
You are on the wrong website if you are looking at UTG. ![]()
On a more serious note, if it is going on a weapon, it is worth getting decent components. Stay away from UTG.
I highly recommend the BCM Mod 4 Gunfighter or the Rainier Arms Raptor. Both of them are good to go.
UTG is glorified airsoft garbage. In fact, if I owned an airsoft gun, I wouldn’t even put UTG accessories on it.
Thoughts on the Troy Ambi since we are on the subject??
I will only talk about what I have seen/used. I really like the BCM Gunfighter Mod 4 (use on my rifles) and the Raptor (used on others rifles).
I went with the BCM because it works well and they cost less (more money for ammo/training…which is always needed).
Well,…this is a toss up. I def want a rainier for my rifle build in progress, but since the gun flair im only halfway done with the new build and still rocking my modded out stag(bough before i new anything, before m4 feed ramps were even standard) . I think im gonna rock the bcm4
I only have experience with the BCM Mod 4 on a couple of my rifles but I really like it.
