can someone tell me the difference in sight pictures and co-witness between the LaRue Tactical QD Mount LT152 - RAS II and the LaRue standard Tactical QD Mount For a flat top AR? currently switching from an EoTech to an Aimpoint. thanks.
The standard mount provides lower 1/3 cowitness when mounted on a flat-top reciever.
The RAS II mount will be too low when mounted directly on a receiver. It’s intended to ride on the humped rail portion of the KAC RAS II forearm. You can see a photo of the mount on top of the RAS II in this thread.
