Should the front of the KAC RAS have a very tight fit around the gas tube? I did not see anyone bring this up in the older threads on the knights armament ras install. This one has 11/17/2006 on the underside with the hex screw.
As i was slipping it under the handguard ring behind the fsb, it seemed like the gas tube was going to be pinched or bent going through the front slot in the rail. With some force, the top of the handguard slid over the tube but it is tight. There were no issues at the barrel nut, there was plenty of clearance around the gas tube to drop the claw arms under the nut.
