Worked for the same construction company for 7 years recently went freelance/independent contractor.
Company owner and me still on good terms, he’s actually giving me advice on LLC etc send me, contact for smaller jobs.
I’ve been on a high end custom home for about a month. & was in need of some specialized tools and shop time, He owns a really nice cabinet shop with all the toys, Festool, Felder, Laguna plus all kinds of Bosch & Stabilia portable items.
I’ve offer to pay rental shop time, But he doesn’t care and simply lets me use whatever i need as long as it doesn’t negatively effect his operations.
So over a BS session he expressed interest in buying a revolver.
As it happens I have a S&W Model 28-2 Serial N201xxx that I never shoot.
So I’m thinking of just giving it to him, Thoughts from the Forum?
you know any wear on machines and electric to run them is money and worth something he seems to be supportive of what you like if he wants to get into fire arms chance to be supportive back
I love love love wood working would like to get better that shop sounds insane nice
I agree with everyone else. If your friend isn’t prohibited, then definitely gift him the revolver. Sounds like he’s been good to you over the years, so it’d be a very nice gesture of appreciation.
Do it. Throw in some Winchester 145-grain .357 Magnum Silvertips. They killed like the plague for Texas DPS and the Dallas Police Department with the Model 28. Some modern .357 Gold Dots and Federal GMM wadcutters would be nice as well.
