I’ve been helping a guy at work put together a patrol rifle. He knows virtually nothing but was enthusiastic and had a pretty good budget. We got him a BCM upper with the DD rail and SS410 barrel, BCM FA BCG, etc etc. I sent him off to a local store for the lower to a trusted counter person who also identified that he had a nice budget and wanted top shelf stuff. He bought a complete KAC lower (won’t have it in hand for a week or two). I’m a redi mag user and I swear by them. At some point I’m probably going to set my friend’s rifle up with a redi mag as his training progresses. Will the ambi mag release on the KAC prevent the installation of a redi mag or will we just lose the “ambi” part of the mag release? Will a mil spec mag release drop in and allow the installation of the redi mag? Thx in advance-Norcal911
