Hello everyone. I’m a new member and I have a question about mounting a Knight’s Micro 600 meter flip sight. The directions say to insert the cross screw and clamp from the left side. If I mount it this way then all the hash marks are facing away towards the muzzle. Am I missing something here or am I just real dumb?

The sight should fold down to the rear, with the pivot towards the front. 
You’ll notice the charging handle, that’s the rear of the upper receiver.
