Just helping Cuba get some Oil

Democrat Rep. Pramila Jayapal, a leader of the Congressional Progressive Caucus, says she has been talking with ambassadors for Mexico and other Latin American countries about how to navigate Trump administration penalties for supplying oil to Cuba, which appears on the brink of economic collapse.

Since Maduro was removed, Jayapal said, only one Russian tanker has got past the U.S. de facto embargo, which provided 10 to 14 days of fuel.

The White House slammed progressive Rep. Pramila Jayapal, D-Wash., who admitted she spoke with foreign ambassadors about getting oil to Cuba despite U.S. sanctions, defending the outreach as “literally our right and responsibility.”

“The Democrats continue to show Americans who they really are – the America Last party who sip margaritas with terrorists, advocate for illegal alien criminals, and undermine the United States to aid a failed, communist regime,” White House spokesperson Olivia Wales told Fox News Digital.

Her remarks came as she sharply criticized U.S. sanctions on Cuba, describing them as “economic bombing of the infrastructure.”

“It is illegal. It is against the law,” she said. “This is essentially doing the same thing. It is bombing the infrastructure of Cuba with economic sanctions that essentially ensure that the infrastructure collapses.”

So the United States sets policy and this nit-wit thinks She can go around it?

Why hasn’t She been arrested ?

In an interview with The Wall Street Journal, Kelly said that a Pentagon watchdog’s report concluded that War Secretary Pete Hegseth had violated departmental rules when he had a conversation about strikes in Yemen on a group chat on the app Signal.

Two problems with that. First, Hegseth has broad powers of declassification. Second, the declassified version of the report isn’t set to be publicly released until Thursday. Kelly made his comments Wednesday – after, according to CNN, the classified version was sent to Congress.

Senators do not have broad powers of declassification. You might begin to see the problem here.

But first, Kelly’s remarks: “They very clearly stated he should not be using his cellphone and putting… this kind of information on an unclassified system,” he said.

Now the article goes on to list even more examples so I’m just wondering how long you’ll allow a lose cannon on the deck?
