I am really glad to see this ruling go as far as it has and I hope that it continues. But I have a feeling that if a demonrat gets in the WH all those sellers will be in trouble or at least forced to comply. And the ATF will put out a notice that anyone who bought a suppressor without a form 4 has X amount of time to submit one or be subject to prosecution. Federal agencies are just hired guns riddled with corruption.
Yep, exactly what will happen if this is not adjudicated with some finality (specifically SCOTUS). And although these are basically like Title I firearms on a 4473 (for now), good luck telling the ATF “I sold it to some guy I don’t know at a gunshow because I didn’t like it” when they do a trace from your FFL. They will not leave NFA items floating out there once they decide to undo this current ruling, count on it. “Aw shucks” isn’t in their vocabulary.
Well there’s no hope there, considering the glacial pace of the SCOTUS machine.
Everything everyone’s doing, buying, posting, etc., is good, as it continues to affirm “common use".
This Guy goes in to that “Common Use” but for another context, to end the ban of Assault Weapons.

Reading legal documents has to be the most boring reading anyone can do.
