james madison tactical 80% polymer lowers

has anyone heard about or seen these? I was looking for input from the forum I know polymer lowers are not considered great but my wife saw them on Facebook and thought they looked cool.

Think the responses you will get might be:

  1. Most on here don’t buy because something looks cool.

  2. Most on here buy a regular mil spec lower.

:dance3:

My girl said she thought they looked cool you guys sure know how to pick what you want to here and make fun. It would go on a 22 upper for her I wondered what people thought but I shouldn’t have asked about this one

Na your good man. Just, i have noticed that there are many serious end users here. That and the fact that a good quality lower can be purchased for $100 too.

If it doesn’t cost the same as a real 100% lower and it’s going for a dedicated 22lr upper I say why not. Have a project for a couple weekends and have something that you can say you finished yourself.

But do not fool yourself into thinking this lower is something it isn’t.

Yeah, I guessed the response would be what you got. If she’s looking for “cool” or “different” somebody makes a lower out of magnesium I think. Blemished lowers go for $50 or so. I couldn’t justify paying $100 for a stripped lower that I had to do the machining on unless it was made from 7075 and I just really felt industrious.
