It's not Going Well for James Talarico

Democratic Senate candidate James Talarico is facing blowback after the family of a child sex abuse victim whose case he invoked publicly contradicted his claim and said they are “tired of being used” in the election.

Talarico held a news conference July 9 outside the office of his Senate opponent, Texas Republican Attorney General Ken Paxton, at which he accused Paxton of giving an “Epstein-style sweetheart deal” to former Waco, Texas, attorney Adam Hoffman.

However, Melissa Dieterich, a friend and spokesperson for the family, publicly disputed Talarico’s assertion that his team had been in contact. Dieterich posted a “note from the victim’s family” on Facebook, which said, “We have not given any statement to Talarico. We have not spoke to him.”

Hoffman originally was charged with continuous sexual abuse of a young child.

Earlier in 2026, Paxton’s office negotiated a plea agreement in which Hoffman pleaded guilty to indecent assault and displaying harmful material to a minor. He was sentenced to 60 days in the McLennan County Jail and was released after 29 days.

The deal was reached after a Waco, Texas, jury failed to reach a unanimous decision in 2025, resulting in a mistrial.

Assistant attorneys general in Paxton’s office have said the deal was a “difficult decision” and “was made entirely in the best interest of the child involved,” according to Spectrum News.

At his news conference, Talarico likened the plea deal to the prosecution of Jeffrey Epstein.

He said that his public information request to release the “Hoffman files” was denied by Paxton’s office. He emphasized that “the victim’s mother called this a corrupt deal,” adding, “We should listen to the victim and their family.”

“We don’t need any more pedophile protectors in our government,” Talarico said at the press conference. “Adam Hoffman was a well-connected lawyer who abused an eight-year-old boy. He should be spending his life in prison … He didn’t even have to register as a sex offender in Texas; that’s how good this Epstein-style deal was.”

"Ken Paxton should have to answer questions about this sweetheart deal," he emphasized.

Well, it would seem to me that Democrats throwing out charges of Corruption should make everyone sit up and pay attention, but this isnt as it first seems.

Talarico’s claims that he had spoken to the Victims appears to be a very Bold Faced Lie and very verifiable. In his haste to make Paxton look bad he convienantly either Lies or doesn’t reveal the Full Truth.

He’s like the Liberal Asshole you meet at a Neighborhood BBQ that makes you instinctfully feel like punching him in the Nose. He’s hanging out with the Girls and Drinking “White Claw” and it just pisses you off to look at it.

I am also sick of hearing how much money he has raised, as if that is a true indication of voter support. I’d be willing to bet that most of his money is coming from out of state from people who think this is the year that Texas turns blue.

Well, Beto O’Rourke raised a bunch of bucks too, and lost in two different contests here in Texas. And as goofy as Beto was, this clown is just as bad. Why do people think that this time will be different?

Talarico can raise all kinds of money to spend on commercials bragging about how much he loves trans children, how God is non-binary, and how Christianity is flawed - even while he tells us how we need to listen to his theological ravings. Oh yeah, and there are 6 genders too.

Don’t get me wrong - we need to take this guy seriously, because even though the odds are against him he is still a threat - because his ideas are just so dangerous.

The only good thing I can say about him is that he took Crockett’s psyche down a few notches.

This- the demonrat party is running out right freaks, communists and loons with the hope there is enough TDS out there to get them elected. So that these crazies can dictate to the rest of the country how to live their lives. Look at this nutcase that replaced the nazi in Maine…. and to think there are people who will vote for him. Dismiss them at your own peril; these are the ones who would gladly load you and your family onto boxcars.

Well, the trans looney author / songwriter is one of 8 or so running for the slot. I do not expect he will get many votes.

But the frightening thing is - he will probably get some votes. Because a lot of the Dems are just bat-shit crazy.

We have not busted this guy’s chops recently, so here is a reminder of his antics.

Suddenly James Talarico Is A Good Ol’ Boy Who Hates Taxes

Since Averageman and I are both in Texas we both have an interest in this. No doubt there are a lot of members here from the Lone Star State.

Nor should it be, just as with any other beta bitch running in Texas.

Here’s one for my Buddy the Historian;

State Rep. James Talarico, the Democratic nominee for U.S. Senate in Texas, used his parents’ address to vote in five elections after buying his own home, according to a report the Texas Tribune and ProPublica published Wednesday.

Talarico listed his parents’ address on his voter registration in November 2021. Despite buying a home the following June, he failed to update his voting records until September 2024, the report says. Talarico himself has accused his Republican opponent Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton of voter fraud in light of an earlier report by the Tribune and ProPublica, stating he may have also voted with an address at which he did not live.

Talarico’s voting practices may have violated state law, according to the recent report. His spokesperson directed blame at Paxton in light of the coverage on Wednesday. Paxton had cited a report by the conservative magazine The Federalist to accuse Talarico of voter fraud linked to his mother’s address last week.

Piecing together Talarico’s voting history is more difficult than it is for Paxton. Talarico, unlike the attorney general, redacts his address on the Travis County voter rolls under a state law that allows some public officials to shield personal information for safety reasons. But unredacted records Talarico’s campaign provided the newsrooms show that he listed his parents’ address on his voter registration in November 2021.

He purchased a home in June 2022 but did not change his voter registration address until September 2024, the news organizations’ review of Travis County records shows. The new address is redacted, but Talarico’s campaign previously told the newsrooms that he currently lives and is registered to vote at the north Austin home he owns.

Talarico’s campaign declined to answer questions about his residency and voting history, including when he began living at the home he owns. Campaign spokesperson JT Ennis said “right-wing actors” had made “credible threats” about trying to locate Talarico and his family.

And here’s Gem for all the Texans;

When asked about his comments in 2021 during floor debate in the legislature that “God is non-binary” in an interview on ABC News Live, Talarico replied that “Ken Paxton is clipping my past cringey comments to distract from his career of corruption,” as part of a “playbook” of “distraction and division.”

When pressed on his comments, Talarico replied that they were “meant to be deliberately provocative” and that he believes “you can’t use human categories to define God.” He said that Republicans are seizing on the comments “to try and distract from the corrupt system that Ken Paxton embodies.”

So he cheats when he Votes and thinks God is Nonbinary, Not in Texas by God, not now, not ever.
