In correlation to all the threads here, and the number of bills coming at us at both the Federal and State levels threatening to restrict, remove, et al, any and all things firearm related, I am thinking that we need to start writing the manufacturers of firearms, ammunition, and accessories to get on board with the program. The anti’s are going after everything they can. Firearms of virtually all makes and models, ammunition, magazines, and accessories for the aforementioned firearms that will be no-longer available.
The short list that I can think of right now;
Colt
Remington
Glock
Beretta
(any other small arms manufacturer of MIL/LEO supplied/use/approved that also has civilian sales)
Magpul
Aimpoint
Trijcon
Federal
Speer
Winchester
(any other small arms ammunition manufacturer of MIL/LEO supplied/use/approved that also has civilian sales)
They need to draw their own line in the sand by letting the Govt. know that if these bills pass, or any new restrictive firearm legislation goes through, that they will deny future sales to any and all Govt. agencies (including the military), and State agencies if at state level (LEO), cancel any current contracts that they have with them, and discontinue any current product support.
If we get pinched, their sales also get pinched, and I daresay that civilian sales generate more income for them than Govt. The Govt may not be paying attention to us, but they will listen to their own suppliers. Those voices will be heard and taken with some seriousness. As it is, there are a large number of companies that do not have Govt contracts that are likely to go out of business when the civilian market gets gutted.
We have been financially supporting these companies for years, time for them to return the favor.
