Is Insight replacing the Procyon?

Is there any issue with the constant on switch disengaing while you are firing?

if you’re asking me, I don’t use the constant on. that’s the reason I wanted to try the Insight; because I’m left handed and both sides are down for momentary, up for constant. tap twice on either side for strobe.

with the TLR1, it is a rocker switch where pushing the right side down pushes the left side up. this is the constant on.

pushing the left side down pushes the right side up and this is the momentary. I tried using the light that way but recoil hurt the tip of my right thumb enough that it became a big distraction.

I like the Insight Procyon/WX150 for a pistol and the TLR for my carbine…

Thanks! I was wondering if the constant on was put on, would recoil cause it to slip out of position?.

no. in the times that I have used constant on at the range on my P226 9MM, it has not.

in fact, none of the controls have activated from recoil on either the P226 or S&W M&P Pro.

the TLR uses a rocker switch so I would not expect it to activate from recoil either…

Thanks!! That is what I needed to know.

Bump. Still wanting to know if anyone knows the answer to this. Thanks.

I use a Safarilnd ALS holster for the Surefire, M3, an TLR 1. It orks fine with the WX 150.
