Insurance fraud in Georgia

GA state patrol cops supplementing their incomes by filing bogus lawsuits against insurance companies.

I think all those Officers are proud graduates of the Learing Academy.

Did they actually think no one would catch this?

How about a TL,DW?

Can probably be explained in one or two sentences what they were doing.

They would do a “Pit Manuver” on a driver and then sue his insurance Company for injuries.

What i wrote seems to be a decent summary since using it as a search query brings up numerous articles on the perps.

They would pit a random person?

They’d claim it was just an accident & the innocent driver accused of being at fault?

They’d claim it was a justified use of force & accuse the pitted of a crime?

They’d scam the innocent driver’s insurance or the PD’s insurance?

You got it.

They essentially were double dipping on both.

I like to call it a “Minneapolis Mind-Set.”

I don’t know if it has been claimed people were selected randomly or they had legitimately committed some sort of violation.

White(the attorney in the video) did put forward the theory that this could explain Arkanas state police wrecking so many vehicles.

What is known is that the cops were engaging in a criminal act so who’s to say the people they PIT’ed didn’t have a valid reason to go in to fight or flight mode.

So far there doesn’t seem to be any legal penalties getting dropped in their laps and(based on loads of related incidents) they are were immediately hired by other agencies so they may have a nearly fool proof plan.
