Unfortunately I am in the middl eof busy season and cant watch the for sale boards like a hawk. I can only check them every few days. I am trying hard to find a barrel for the one and only AR-15 I now own. I am so unfomfortable not having a complete rifle. What would you guys suggest? Should I actually try a gun show?

i just ordered two 14.5 CMV 1/7 CL barrels with FSB from American Firearms Manufacturing. They say I’ll have them in two weeks. Lead times on their other barrels are longer, apparently. They say they specialize in the 14.5s and put 'em out faster. Can’t vouch for them, but if you want to wait two weeks I’ll post a review once I get 'em. Should be righteous, though, so long as they aren’t lying about their specs.
call to find out lead times, first- they’re REALLY hard to get to pick up the phone, but if you keep trying they will eventually answer. dont bother leaving a message. i had to call about 30 times over two days.
Spike’s Tactical had some complete uppers available a couple of days ago. Give them a call in the morning to confirm availability.
Has anyone ever done business with these American Firearms guys? They’re stuff looks really good for the price. Just looking for some feedback.

How much are you trying to spend? Any preference as far as brand and length and such? I would look at gunbroker, impactguns, rainierarms, coldwarshooters, and check gun shows. Just remeber you gotta pay to play. Best of luck!
