‘I Really F***ing Appreciate That’: Why a Gun Store Owner Is So Upset

The video response. It isn’t pretty.

It doesn’t help anyone’s second amendment rights to make death threats to anyone simply because they decide to carry a product most of us find offensive. It’s not like he decided to no longer sell AR-15s or anything. If somebody wants to try and make money selling crap like a Safety Bullet or Smart Gun and you don’t agree with that decision don’t shop at that gun store, contact the owner and let him know why you won’t be a customer. But death threats are hardly warranted.

And while I can understand why anyone who receives death threats will probably become very upset, especially when such threats are associated with the buying and selling of firearms, it’s probably a very bad idea to get on youtube and express your opinion. This is one of those times you contact law enforcement and advise them you are getting “death threats” and you provide all the pertinent information needed to investigate the threats and you let the police handle the matter.

That fact that all of this is a result of a firearm that is at best a poor idea and at worst a liability to the owner is even more unfortunate. But if somebody wants to sell a “bad idea” gun they are free to offer for sale anything they believe will be profitable. This entire matter should never have happened in the first place.

I agree with this.

But honestly the conspiracy side of me jumped out after I read the article and screamed “false flag.” Death threats because someone decided to carry a specific brand that appealed to a certain market? That would be like us calling up Grant and threatening him because he started carrying Olympic Arms and Hi Point.

Having said that, I remember how many idiots there are in the world and it wouldn’t surprise me in the least.

Somebody explain this New Jersey law to me. If anybody anywhere starts selling these Armatix “smart pistols” then a three-year clock starts ticking and when time runs out, the only guns legal for sale in New Jersey are smart guns? So why didn’t the clock start when this Oak Tree Gun Club in California started selling them? Is Armatix not sold anywhere in the U.S.?

I don’t blame the guy for being pissed. Sounds like he didn’t understand the consequences and, as soon as he found out, he pulled the plug. If this is all it takes to trigger the New Jersey law, what’s to stop Bloomberg from opening a store, stocking only Armatix, and screwing over every gun dealer and gun buyer in New Jersey? I’m surprised he hasn’t already done it, if it’s that simple.

While this is a rhetorical question, who would buy a gun from Bloomberg?

I am sure there are plenty who are ill informed and don’t know he is trying to destroy their rights. Also, if you marked them lower than hi points I am sure he could get plenty of them on the street in the hands of those who prove that gun laws do jack.

And back to the New Jersey law, does Bloomberg even have to sell one? Can he just open a store, stock one Armatix “smart pistol,” and turn the entire state of New Jersey on its head?

The same sorts of person who would buy an Armatix, I tend to suspect. Or maybe people against “illegal guns”.

Already an existing thread on this topic, gents.
