I made an an AR-15 Style Grip for the Mini-14 with a Folding Stock

I didn’t really care for the original grip on the Mini-14’s folding stock and wanted something a bit more comfortable to use. I could never find a decent replacement, and the ones that I could find were not made correctly, so they wouldn’t mount correctly. I finally decided to make my own.

This is a combination of a Mini-14 grip and an AR-style grip.

If you have access to a 3d Printer, you can get the file to print it here:

It took me a bit of work to get it right, so I’m just passing it along for others.

Thank you, hopefully someone finds it useful.

Because it feels nicer than the stock grip

Disagree. My AT-M stock grips feel much better w/better angle than an A2.

I did file the edges along the trigger guard groove. They were a little sharp.

It really comes down to personal taste.

A1 is more betterer

I may need to CAD up one in the A1 style someday

I grind the bump off of my A2’s and they become one of may favorite grips. A1’s can be hard to find, and sometimes a bit pricey considering what they are.

Yes I thought that as well, it would be easy enough to use a belt sander and take it off.

Be way cooler when you do it from scratch. You do good work :+1:
