I don’t really buy into the Team Red/Team Blue dichotomy, but I have to laugh when people say the media isn’t biased to the left.

Read this article. The author uses the word “scientists” and “doctoral candidate” while failing to mention that Piff’s field of study is psychology. That is hardly “science”.

Yep, clearly they are. Some good background reading on the subject. I did a college paper on Lichter and Rothman years ago, they do a great job of compiling this evidence in their books and this website makes some of it accessible. Check out the “Research” section.

One can be a “doctoral candidate” in any number of fields, not just science. It only means the person is in the final stage of a Ph. D. program.
