how small in a .30 caliber supressor?

I have a .17 hornet (not .17 hmr) and know its too much pressure for a .22 cal rimfire supressor. Would it be worth it to shoot it through my .30 cal supressor? Or would I give up too much in supression and need to shoot it through a .223 can?
Thanks

I would certainly prefer a 223 can. They do make multi caliber cans that take 22 WM, that would be best . But check with mfg to make sure it works.

There is no downside to trying a 30 can but it seems way out of speck.

The hornet is much higher pressure than a .22 mag. Thats my concern

Google, what suppressor for 17 hornet. Spectra, Sparrow etc cameup. I domnt know the round well, but many of those cans in $500 range should be fine. Again, just double back with mfg. You shouldn’t have to go to .223, but it still might be a good choice.

The spectre II I just bought is rated for 22 hornet and 5.7 so it should be good with 17 hornet
