Anyone know how heavy the BCM SS410™ 16" Mid Length Upper Receiver Group w/ Daniel Defense Lite 12" Handguard 1/8 Twist is?

It looks a bit hefty. It’s a medium weight barrel and the DD site says the rail is 14 oz.

E-mail BCM, they always answer quickly.
I don’t have the BCM/DD upper, but I have an upper with a 16" stainless mid-length, mid-weight WOA barrel, LaRue 12" handguard, a G&R BCG, LaRue gas block, standard CH, Vortex FH, Troy BUIS front and rear, and although I don’t recall the upper’s specific weight, the upper is heavy. Throw on a LaRue optic mount and a 1-4 variable scope, and the upper is very heavy. With a Harris bipod and a LaRue bipod mount, the upper weighs a ton, and this is without a light. The carbine doesn’t have the balance and is not as maneuverable as a carbine with a shorter rail and without a bipod, obviously. The carbine shoots beautifully, however, but it wouldn’t be my “go to” gun.
