How bad is the AK74 with the brake?

I had an SAR2 without a brake and the sound was piercing, how bad is it with the brake?

Still much better than a 16" AR with a brake…

I always wear hearing protection, and I’m not honestly going to take them off to give it a try…but compared to an AR with a brake with the same barrel length, it’s a lot better.
