I want to mount an M16 bayonet on an HK 93. In the past I was quite certain (many years ago) that I had somewhere seen a front sight base plug that had an M16 bayonet lug instead of the HK one.
Anyone know where to find one?
Never even heard of that and a M-16 lug mounted out in front of the cocking tube would be really weak, I also don’t think you’d get the correct offset. But more importantly, given how affordable G3 bayonets are, why even bother?
I believe Eickhorn-Solingen made an adapter that fit into the end of the cocking tube.
I don’t know where you’d be able to find one these days, maybe gunbroker.
