Daughter and fam flying in tonight! Will be a great day/weekend. Even in NY I have plenty of fireworks and sparklers to keep the grand-kids happy!! Happy 4th of July everyone!

Just flew back home from Portland international through O’Hare. Despite the shitty weather and the numerous flight delays, I felt the sense of pride of this country because people were genuinely happy to be alive and in a celebratory mood. Regardless, it is good to be back home in Indiana. Or maybe I’m just severely jetlagged and fatigued. The older I have gotten, the more rebellious and free spirited I’ve become. Rebellion day. Sounds perfect.
