Well no celebration for me.
The BNSF Railway despises their employees and the families of their employees.
Therefore I am working like I do on most holidays.
I guy I know that works for the railroad once told me that the only people the railroad hates more than their customers is their employees.
It’s not limited to the railroad. Public safety is the same. Today is being a Sunday funday.

They’re conflicted on who to screw over first on any given decision.
One of my greatest regrets in life, that I will probably never have the chance to be the kind of father to kids of my own that my grandfather tried to be for me in the too-short years we had.
My father and grandfather were awesome. Grandfather enjoyed cars, dad enjoyed flying.

I have two young sons and they are the light of my life. My own dad is still alive and staying with me now while he visits from overseas. He has prostate cancer and I know these moments are numbered. I just wish he followed his doctor’s orders and followed the treatment. I will just love him as much as I can while I still have him. The old man is set in his ways.

I raised my Son alone at a time on my Life where I really didn’t have any business even attempting it.
But I loved my Son and when I got my Divorce I didn’t want another Man raising him. I wanted him to have my morales and values and the capicty to gr4ow up to be a Man.
Upon reflection I can only see my deficinecies, but if you ask my Son he will say I was the Best Dad ever.
Just approach it like your building someone to leave you and go out into the World, your Job is prepqare them for that, give them the Armor and Intelligence to move your Name forrward.
