I’m looking to buy a used upper and I’m curious about two half circles on the face of the KAC E3 bolt. They’re on each side of the firing pin hole.
I’m told it has 100 rounds through the rifle. Thoughts?
My suggestion… Don’t do anything yet.
I sent these pics to my guy at KAC to get his opinion.
Will advise as soon as I here back…

Doesn’t look problematic to me. It’s not where burst primers would damage/etch the bolt face.

Looks like cutter marks.
I think they pop in every so often.
Look like tool marks. Shouldn’t be an issue.
