Mag dumped him, then pistol whipped him. They arrested him. Obviously, people are pissed he was arrested considering the circumstances, which are really terrible:
“More details out on father’s killing of man accused of molesting 13-year-old daughter”
According to records obtained by the Arkansas Times, Spencer initially called 911 just after 1 a.m. on October 8, 2024, to report his 13-year-old daughter missing. Spencer told police he’d been awakened by his dog barking, went to his daughter’s room to check on her and saw she was missing. He said he suspected she was with Fosler, 67, who had been arrested in July and charged with 43 counts, including sexual assault of a minor and internet stalking of a child, related to Fosler’s pursuit of Spencer’s then-13-year-old daughter.
The arrest affidavit for Spencer says he went to look for his daughter and Fosler after calling 911 the first time. The Lonoke County Sheriff’s Office contacted Cabot police to ask them to check a specific address. Prior to hearing back from Cabot police, however, 911 dispatch got a second call from Spencer, who said he had located the “man who kidnapped his daughter” and his daughter, but that Fosler was “dead on the side of the road” and that “he had no choice.”
Outsider Judge Wilson better sleep with 1 eye open because the system appears to have been protecting Fosler when alive and out for revenge once he was killed.
" MURDER CASE DISMISSED! CHARGES DROPPED AGAINST HERO FATHER AARON SPENCER!!!
This is a huge victory!!! I am so happy for him and his family!!
Lonoke County, Arkansas— Aaron Spencer is a father, Army veteran, and farmer who was charged with second-degree murder and a firearm enhancement in the October 8, 2024, death of Michael Fosler.
Months before the shooting, Fosler, 67, had been arrested and charged with numerous sex crimes involving Spencer’s teenage daughter. Court records indicate Fosler was out on bond despite the allegations and was under restrictions related to contact with the girl. Reports have stated he was facing dozens of felony charges, including sexual assault and internet stalking of a child.
In the early morning hours of October 8, 2024, Spencer discovered that his daughter was missing from their home. While his wife contacted 911, Spencer began searching for her himself. He eventually located Fosler’s truck with his daughter inside.
According to prosecutors, Spencer pursued the truck and forced it off the roadway. An altercation followed between the two men, and Fosler was shot and killed at the scene. Court records state that Spencer knowingly caused Fosler’s death, which is the basis for the second-degree murder charge.
Spencer’s attorneys do not dispute that he shot Fosler. Instead, they argued that Spencer was acting to protect his daughter from a predator and that his actions were lawful under Arkansas self-defense and defense-of-others laws.
Many people saw Spencer as a father who intervened when the justice system failed to protect his child. Others argued that regardless of Fosler’s alleged crimes, the shooting must be judged under Arkansas homicide laws and decided by a jury.
The case drew even more national attention when Spencer ran for sheriff of Lonoke County while awaiting trial. In March 2026, he won the Republican primary, although he would be unable to serve if convicted of a felony.
Today, June 4, 2026, the murder case against him was dismissed.
According to Special Circuit Judge Ralph Wilson Jr., it was dismissed because law enforcement’s handling of key evidence violated Spencer’s constitutional right to due process.
The evidence at the center of the ruling was a dash camera and its SD memory card recovered from Michael Fosler’s truck after the October 2024 shooting. The defense argued that the dashcam footage could have provided critical evidence about what occurred immediately before the fatal confrontation and may have supported Spencer’s claim that he was acting to protect his daughter.
Judge Wilson found numerous problems with how investigators handled the evidence, including:
• The dashcam was removed without properly documenting its location.
• The SD card was removed and viewed before being submitted for forensic examination.
• The SD card was never properly photographed or logged as evidence.
• The SD card was ultimately lost.
• The dashcam itself was not entered into evidence for more than a year after being seized.
In his order, Wilson wrote that the handling of the evidence established a pattern of policy violations and created “the appearance of a coverup.” He concluded that the missing evidence was potentially exculpatory and that the government’s conduct deprived Spencer of a fair opportunity to present his defense.
Dismissing a felony case before trial is extremely rare. Wilson acknowledged that dismissal is an “extraordinary and extreme remedy,” but determined it was warranted under the circumstances because lesser sanctions would not cure the prejudice caused by the lost evidence.
Sounds to me that the pervert was aided by people in the system. My personal view is everyone that aided the pervert should now be new neighbors of the pervert.
Never seen the snatched or willingly(albeit unable to do so legally) question answered, but the family allegedly had a no contact order against Fosler* and I’ve not seen any claims she ran halfway across the county to meet him.
The bits and pieces of this I have seen indicate this judge
Been a few years back, but a cop was a member of some sort of dating/sex hook up website that required all users to be 18 that(iirc) actually included some sort of verification other than clicking “yeah sure” and had membership fees. Never heard how it came to the attention of the police, but one of his dates ended up being less than 18 and the cop ended up getting convicted on some sort of child molestation charge.
In my opinion, that cop(and it could have happened to anyone) got fucked by the system, but Fosler was aware of the age issue along with the order to stay away and appears to have been enabled by the system.
I’m not trying to be a jerk but, just how she left is in a weird way kind of important to me. I mean if She climbed out the Window and met him down on the Corner is a lot different than he broke in to her room and carried her out to his truck unconsscious.
When I was a young Soldier home on leave I met a Girl in a Bar, She was drinking and I know this because I bought her drinks.
I met her the next day to go swimming and I ran in to my Sister. My Sister say’s becareful, I know her because I go to school with her, Shes in 10th grade.
If she willingly(albeit not legally) went then she would seem to be off to a good start of not being worth a damn. I only go with the “too young to understand” thing so far and a 13 year old doesn’t get to claim ignorance on that barring some level of mental retardation i haven’t seen mentioned.
Regardless of the girl’s actions, Fosler seems to have.been fully aware of the details and earned the outcome. Best i can recall, the 13 year old wasn’t the only minor he had fooled around with and kept getting cut loose to do it it again
The 13-year-old could be on the road to being a complete hoe and fully willing participant who knows exactly what she’s doing. She might also simply have been brainwashed by the dude. It doesn’t matter. Either way, she doesn’t have the maturity to consent to him because her child brain has not developed enough and she doesn’t have the life experience necessary. This is why it’s call child molestation. The dude 100% knew what he was doing was wrong and got what he deserved. Her father should have received the citizen of the year award instead of being arrested.
You are correct the Dude knew what he was doing was 100% wrong and without any justification.
What She “Knows” is kind of important enough to at least to make note of, if not to study to at least make note of for future reference.
When I was a young teenager I ran in to several Girls my age that were Hypersexual, I didn’t understand it at the time. Now I believe more than a few of those same girls might have been abused at home and that abuse defined sexuality to them.
The thin blue line backers are out in force and have decided the cops losing evidence that would have assisted Spencer’s case was actually cops losing evidence that Spencer was guilty.
The deputy who screwed up the evidence has been fired after the new judge commented on his actions which were presumabky known to the sheriff all along.
