Who takes pictures of their crotch? I’m fifty something years old and it’s never occurred to me to take candid photos of my junk.
The shit that people record and store as digital media, thinking their right to privacy is sacrosanct and that data will never be tampered with or disclosed, never ceases to amaze me. Particularly people in the public eye who are attractive targets for those seeking to embarrass them.
In the interest of full disclosure, I believe my gastroenterologist has some color glossies from my last colonoscopy.
I actually believed his side of the story when I first heard about this whole debacle. It seemed plausible to me at the time that someone could’ve hacked into his Twitter account and planted a picture or two in an attempt to discredit him. It’s politics, there are politicians who have done way worse before, especially when in the midst of an election season. Regardless, after watching his initial press conference I’ve lost all faith in the man (not that I had much to begin with). His explanation was painfully transparent and downright embarrassing to watch. And what was that shit about pie throwing? Wrong answer. The correct one was, “No, I didn’t do it.” Thanks for playing though.

Kind of a metaphysical question. Can you take a candid photo of your own junk? Wouldn’t it always be posed? Kind of like trying catch yourself looking away in the mirror.

Let me put it this way. Who here, if they were at work bringing up a presentation onto their laptop for a meeting, and if this picture came up- would anyone believe you if you said you didn’t know anything about it and someone hacked your computer???

The odds are about 95% that he accidentally sent the image via a publicly posted message as opposed to sending it privately as intended. It was deleted almost instantly, which is more indicative of someone retracting a mistake than them just happening to be actively online at the time.
He probably had a drink or two, maybe he was somehow distracted. Either way, he almost certainly did it. Just his reaction alone is extremely incriminating.
