This looks too good to be true and I have heard some negative comments about Botach. How do these Peltors stand up? Has anyone used these and is this a good deal?
I can’t speak on the ear pro. I have ordered numerous items from Botach and never had a problem. I know some people have but I am not one of them. Before ordering anything from them, however, I google the product # and find out: who else is selling them, at what price, and read any reviews. Just my two cents
good deal. call them and be sure the product is in stock before placing order. once you verify said product is in stock, order while on the phone with the operator.
If you can ever get anyone on the phone…I had a slight problem but the biggest issue was that I couldn’t reach anyone to even get a resolution! I dont even remember exactly what I ordered but it was a handful of things…A friend of mine orders from them all the time and he says most of the time they are gtg. But, its those once in a while times that gets him irked…
I have sent emails to them before with no response back so I deal with Grant he always gets back to you fast

Having to navigate Botach’s CS is pretty much a rite of passage.
Good experience - in that now I have zero issues paying a bit more to go through retailers and people I enjoy doing business with and feeling better about it.
Recently got an Aimpoint #x magnifier from them - few little miscues on the transaction regarding what exactly was included, but customer service (Mica) was responsive on the phone and via email to get things straightened out - not a perfect transaction, but a story with a happy ending.

It really seems like they are trying do damage control by repairing their $hitty past online history; hopfully they get better, but I am reluctant to give them myCC# for anything. I would much rather do business with trusted referrals from this website.
Can you plug an ipod into these like you can with the MSA and Howard Leight models? I’ve been debating what model to upgrade to, and these look nice.

Well my Botach order arrived over the weekend. The muffs shipped the day after they were ordered. Looking on some other websites, they run between 3-400 bucks, so I think $89 was a steel. They seem to be well made. Haven’t shot with them yet, but I put them on while watching tv and making various random noises. Seem to work well. The muffs are pretty big, but I was able to shoulder and sight down the barrel of my 30-30 no problem. Will try with an AR shortly. Overall very pleased with my first Botach purchase.
