Glock 26 gen 5 rust

Glock is going to replace the barrel, but its going to be 2 weeks. ouch, guess I will have to rock a G28 until they replace the barrel.

Here are some pics of the chambered round I pulled out.

Geez, I’ve never seen anything like that in any of my guns. Hopefully this is just a one off mistake by Glock.

That must be a one off. Let us know what Glock says after inspecting the barrel.

I have not sent it out yet, Hoping to send it this week. I cleaned the barrel up and it rusted like that sitting in my truck waiting to be shipped.

I need to get it done, as i been rocking a G28 with less then steller HP’s

I own three Glocks and thankfully I have never seen anything like that, ever.

update, still waiting for an email from a guy named mark mayo with there CS. The mail said to wait to hear from them before sending it in. I switched to something else while i wait.

Also seem to think its a gen 5 issue, as I took my G17 gen 5 on a week long trip in the middle of no where. It started to rust inside the barrel as well. None of my other glocks have done this. and I have 2 glocks in my safe that was ran hard and never cleaned. they show ZERO rust on them.
