Geissele pins walking out EDIT:Geissele CS rocks!

Told ya. Bill and his crew are the best.

I have to give another +1 to geissele customer service. I lost one of my pins during the course of a build, and when i emailed them and admitted that i had lost them and wanted to buy another, they sent me a set for free! You just cant beat that. I think its another reason to stick with reputable manufacturers, as they stand behind their products and customers. Geissele Rocks!

Definitely.

Bill understands that a little goodwill to his customers goes a lot further than any paid advertising he could possibly do. He’s also a stickler for his products working and performing to his specs. Geissele pins should hold together Geissele triggers - Bill wouldn’t have it any other way.

As result, Geissele has my business for life and I recommend them at every opportunity.

X2… They take care of business… Ron

They gave me a free set of pins too.

I bought a .170" SSA from a guy on Arfcom. When I received it, it was apparent he’d beat one of the pins into a .154" lower:D and marred up the pin pretty bad (I always wanted to know what his lower looked like but he didn’t respond to my PM.).

I explained to Geissele that I bought it second-hand and it was obviously not any of their problem and offered to pay for the pins, but he wouldn’t hear of it.

Had a new set of pins in the mail four days later.

I agree, his customer service is above and beyond what I would expect from any one. I wish more companies would follow suit.

I even offered to at least pay for shipping and geissele refused.

The SSA-E that I got a few months ago only had one pin with a dimple in it. I have no to reason to believe that the outfit I bought it from would swap out one pin.

I would still contact GA over that.

I have seen many GA triggers (and ALG triggers). Every single one of them had pins with dimples on the end.

Glad to hear you got it worked out. Geissele is the best and they really stand behind their products. I will never own another trigger on an AR.

I have a SSA-E pin with a dimple on one side but not the other. I guess the "dimpler’ was being finicky that day. So as long as it doesnt affect function I wouldnt worry about it.

Look what showed up today, My pins plus some Swag.

Geissele flat out ROCKS.

And you guys aint shitting about the pins being tight, they were kinda a pain to install but i highly doubt they’ll ever walk on me.

Well, that’s it. I already ordered KNS pins for a set of walking pins on my new 6920, but this thread put me over the edge. The Colt’s getting a Geissele (I have one in an LWRC and one in a Noveske already).

Outstanding CS plus an outstanding product means I should spend the money, even if I wasn’t planning to.

Im going to stick with geissele from now on for sure. A company that offers such great service is rare and should be supported.

Mr G’s pins are the best.
Running a JP fcg but went with G pins after rethinking the KNS. Good fit and easy to remove if/when needed.

On a related note my shooting buddy just received a new in package Geissele SSA-E. The first thing I noticed was that the pins didn’t have any dimples on the ends. I was a little alarmed since every Geissele I’ve seen and installed so far has the pin ends dimpled. I was concerned about the possibility of a fake since he bought it off ebay, but everything else about it looked geniune. I noticed the photos on the Geissele website also now show no dimples.

Has there been a change at the the factory to no dimples on the ends of the pins?

Purchased the ALG QMS trigger group as a spare set from a reputable vendor a few weeks ago. No dimples at all on the pins. The pins do have an extra outer groove machined into them. I wonder why they took the extra step to machine the third groove when all of the pins I’ve seen have just a center and an outer groove. I sent off an email to ALG inquiring about the dimples and grooves a few days ago. Haven’t received a response yet.

I’d like to add another positive comment for Geissele. Their CS is nothing short of superb. My duty rifle and home defense guns both carry G triggers.

The pins they sent me are dimpled on both sides. I wonder if the ALG uses a standard pin instead of the Geissele pins in order to save costs.

We use the Geissele G2S pins with the QMS trigger group. They are flat sided with 3 grooves. HTH
