Gavin Newsom vetoes anti-cop "Lemon Pound Cake" bill

So Newsom vetoes a bill allegedly inspired by Adams County, Ohio Deputies stealing $400 from Afroman while they ransacked his home that would have made it easier to decertify PRK cops who use their occupation to steal.

Not sure what the angle is considering the bill was written by former California highway patrolman and outgoing Assemblymember Tom Lackey, R-Palmdale. It is a really odd thing that he had to claim inspiration due to $400 stolen in Ohio so not sure what group he was pandering to or why.

If you think Gavin Newsome is against corruption and outright theft by the state or state actors I don’t know what to tell you.

Obviously on newsom, just not sure on lackey’s act.

He’s been in office since 2014, but apparently had no problem with cops in Fresno stealing items during searches.

So is lackey planning a run for another office and trying to win votes from hip hop fans, 4th Amendment supporters and so on or was it tossing a softball to newsom to get the TBL vote for a potus run?
