G&R Tactical Interviewed for local paper

I prefer it loud and proud. Different strokes…

So I see I am not alone. Shocking!

I’ll give you my “10 digit grid” in case you have to E&E the Commies

LOL, I do not think I am the E&E type.

I’m having “Never Forget Waco, TX” shirts made…:stuck_out_tongue:

That’s the voice of experience.

Again, I understand. But there are members of LF.net and professionalsoldiers.com which don’t share their common sense. I have their own written words to prove it. Like I said, that guy in class may be the guy your red dot sits on. That’s a helluva lot different that putting it on some smelly, bearded guy with an Arabic name.

This won’t be easy or straightforward. In fact, it will be a bloody nightmare.

Oh I fully understand that there are sheep in every profession.

American’s had to fight Americans before and I am sure it will happen again (which is of course sad).

rmecapn,

Actually what you say will work both ways. There are those who will talk the talk and not walk the walk. I can almost guarantee there are those in the .MIL and LEO world who say that they will do this or that, but when the time comes and they start to see the realities they will wake up. We can all just hope that common sense and cooler heads prevail.

Otherwise…

You will end up dead.

Have you determined if your life insurance policy(ies) will pay off to your widow under such circumstances? If it does, will the proceeds be excluded from the wrongful death actions brought against your estate (or hers if she goes with you) by the families of the dead federal agents? And who writes the checks for the judges?

From the provided link:

A few say they are preparing to protect themselves in the event of a race war.

Gimme a break…

Freedom does not have a color.

For someone who has posted so much smack about the government and how it is to be watched, you get mighty lawyerly when someone states what should be all Americans’ response to tyranny.

When you put it in context that the American Revolution was initiated by the imposition of a simple tax stamp, I can certainly see how citizens of the US would be considering defending themselves against a Government that not only imposed new tax, but infringed upon God given rights.

No, you’re definitely not alone. But how this thing unfolds is what concerns me. Millions of Americans have guns and ammo. But decent people don’t get into a fight easily. Let’s not forget that this whole country came into being as a result of an AD.

I have little doubt that the Obama/Pelosi/Reid triad will make a run at this. Hopefully, though, they will proceed in a prudent and cautious manner, giving our side time to absorb what is happening to them and then push back with enough political force that it causes them to back off and leave it alone.

If they aren’t smart enough for that – and remember they are on a major sugar-high after the election – then they might try to slam this thing home fast. Like sweeping reforms on the first and second amendment that get pushed through as a part of a “first hundred days” package. Or they could choose to ignore all political push-back and decide it’s going to happen anyway. This would lead to disastrous results. In a broken arrow scenario, our people would either be so caught off guard that they were unable to really think things through until it was too late. Or it could trigger an explosive response as it did the first time around.

For those other boards, and those who think these topics shouldn’t be discussed out loud, I disagree. I think that it is much safer and healthier for the administration to learn of the peoples’ resolve on our first and second amendment rights in this way, than to become overconfident through silence and then do something cocky and stupid that we will all deeply regret later. Which of course wouldn’t be the first time Americans had to struggle with who they were going to aim at.

People die. Can’t live forever. Better to choose a cause and take a bullet for it, then live under circumstances that go against everything your soul holds true. Death isn’t a fear to those who understand what they fight for is larger then just one life.

I’m not agreeing or disagreeing with anything anyone is saying. Only stating how dumb a statement that is, when you use it in an attempt to bring, what you feel, is an unrealized outcome to such actions that Grant is speaking.

Death and taxes are always with us.

Ideas, even ideas of liberty, have consequences. Just like the consequences of shooting in self defense need to be thought out in advance, so does shooting federal agents in defense of liberty. Anyone who doesn’t think through the consequences of their planned actions is, in my professional opinion, a fool.

I have two documents which give me license to be lawyerly.

BTW, if what I post is, in your view, “smack”, then feel free to scroll on by. If the politicians and civil servants in our system of government worked it as designed, we would not be having this discussion, would we?

It’s dumb not to consider what what happens when one discusses shooting federal agents. Especially when there is a wife and children involved. It doesn’t mean you may not take the decision to fight. You better be ready for the consequences.

Talk is cheap, especially on the internet. Lawyers are expensive. Statements like this may change “THOUSANDS of others that fire the first shot before me” to hundreds, scores, or one or two.

[QUOTE=Submariner;249945]You will end up dead.

As far as I know only ONE has walked the earth and not end up dead.
I trust him as my Lord and savior.

I could end up dead walking my dog between now and BHO’s inaugaration.

I could end up dead in any of the bad areas my job has required me to go
to from time to time.

I could give up my weapons to theoretical brownshirts as has become obvious
several here will do, only to be slained the next day by home invaders carrying
“illegal” weapons.

I could drop dead of a heart attack on the back porch the way my father did.

I recently read a news article, where police dogs detected a package at a UPS
facility addressed to wife of a businessman. They had an officer pose as a delivery
man and drop the package at the door. They surveilled the house till the husband
came home and took the package inside. He put it down on the table and left it
for his wife to open. The police had asked a judge for a no-knock warrant and were turned down by the judge. They executed a no-knock entry anyway, and shot dead the couples 2 docile dogs as they ran away from the front door.
In the end it turns out the couple were innocent, the package was supposed
to have been intercepted by a part-time UPS worker who was corrupt.

After reading this I realized if this had happened to my home, I would be dead.
My dog is a great dog and companion, and in no way docile, he would of been
killed attacking/defending,and my response to the commotion without even seeing
who breached the front door would be 12guage or .45ACP hi-cap in nature.
And I would be dead. And I make no apologies to anyone for that and it doesn’t
change my response.

Seems this thread kind of separates the William Wallaces from the Mournays and
Locklunds.

“Every man dies,…”

I think you’re missing something.

Dissent and violence are the mother and father of our country. It’s what gave birth to us. It will ALWAYS be with us. It’s in our blood. The powers that be and people who submit to them have done well in quelling this in many people but it still lives in the hearts and minds of those who hold dear the idea of America.

Nope. Didn’t miss it.

Soap box. Ballot box. Jury box. Cartridge box.

Freedom isn’t free.

I’ve watched Submariner post enough that I don’t think he disagrees that sacrifice is necessary to preserve things of value. I just think he was pointing out the other side of the coin. And the coin does have another side. Which hopefully causes us to all be very prudent in our actions. People will have to see with their own eyes, the other side doing things with intolerable consequences before they will cross that line. If they do see, and it makes clear that the risk must be taken, then they will do so. Many here have a mindset that major disarmament, things done “house to house” by force, or the kind of silencing of free speech that makes people fearful – or causes some to disappear or be imprisoned – are in that over the top category. If and when people see things like this going on, then you will find out what they are made of. Prior to that talk is just talk either way.

Glad to hear it.
