Full-Auto Fun with PWS! Some Video Footage

Here are a few video clips I made using my little Panasonic FZ100. While this camera doesn’t get rave reviews on most photography boards, I’ve been happy with it. I really like the ability to capture slow motion video and have found myself using this feature more and more. I specifically like how the slow motion videos show the gas patterns from the muzzle brake and how much movement there is in the magazine, etc.

The firearm used is a Primary Weapons Mk116 upper on a Colt lower.

Mods,

Can you please move this to the general discussion board for me?

Slow motion videos are awesome

The videos are as fun to make as they are to watch. Still, I wish they were clearer in slow motion. I’m really trying to use the “the videos aren’t very clear” excuse to buy an expensive camera. But in the long run, I really can’t justify the expense. I’ve probably made all the slow motion full-auto videos I’m ever going to make. How many of these can a guy make, realistically, before you’ve seen it all?

Thanks for sharing the video, how do you like your 116?

I like the simplicity of the design. The top rail gets pretty toasty but I guess that’s to be expected since it’s also the gas tube.

I’ve found the gun to be accurate with good ammo and it has been reliable through the 700 rounds I’ve got through it.

On the down side, my tan follower Brownell’s mags won’t drop free. I haven’t found this to be an issue with the other lowers I’ve tried them in. But the PWS drops everything else free to include PMAG’s, ARC mags, Adventure Line USGI and green follower Brownell’s.
