I just got my AR zeroed and noticed my flip up Troy rear sight is adjusted almost all the way to the right. I contacted the company and they have no problem taking it back and fixing it. I was wondering if anyone else thinks its too far over too, or this type of thing is normal. Just trying to decide if its worth sending back, the company is paying for shipping so no cost there.
It may not be a case of the front sight is canted. I originally used a flip up arms#40 BUIS on my rifle and I had to crank the windage more than 2/3 of the way to get it zeroed. Later I replaced the arms#40 with a larue fixed BUIS and it took less than a 1/4 turn on the centered windage drum to zero the rear aperture looks perfectly centered between the wings.
As long as you can zero it and it has some adjustment left its considered OK .
Hard to tell from these pics, but it looks like your rear sight canted to the left?
What can’t your front site do?
It looks to me like the FSB is ok from the pics. I might try putting the post back in, maybe that KNS post is messed up.
That too! would ditch the kns post.
I’m starting to wonder if my FSB is canted. It kind of looks canted, and I’m almost running out of windage on my rear sight.
Then again, since my elbow was shattered, I can’t shoot worth a crap anyways… Like 4-5" groups at 50 yards, because I can’t get a solid consistent cheekweld or consistent trigger pulls. 
If your rear sight is more 15 clicks (in either direction) then you might have an issue.

You know it never occured to me it maybe the Troy sight, I feel abit dumb here. I have an Aimpoint M3 and although its 1/3 co-witness when I use my irons the red dot lines with the front post.
When I swapped over to the Larue Fixed BUIS I was fully expecting to have to make 1-2 full revolutions of the windage adjustment Surprise ,Surprise About 1/4 turn and it was zeroed.:rolleyes: So glade I got the folding BUIS off the rifle and went with the fixed BUIS.
I’ll have to look at it again when I get home from my trip. I’ve definitely had to take it more than 15 clicks to the right. I can hit clay birds all day long at 50yd right now, but anything consistent/precise is out the window at the moment.

My Troy rear sight zeroed with the aperature, almost as far right, as yours, on my Sabre/BCM build. It might be my eyes, but my Troy does look to be leaning to the left a touch, with explain why the aperature needs to be moved so far right. As long as you are able to obtain a zero, I wouldn’t sweat it too much.
