Just a friendly heads up Frank Proctor & Kyle Defoor are putting on a class at Frank’s new training facility July 27th-28th. One of these guys is worth the trip, but both(forget about it) and at new range! I can’t make it, but hopefully some of yall can get out there. Here is some info from an email of Franks talking about new facilities (present and things to come) and schedule.
" I wanted to touch base with everyone and let you know about some thing s I’m pretty excited about. I now have my own private range facility in Eastaboga, AL (10 Miles West of Oxford, AL) I have been working on it for over a month now and putting some finishing touches on as we speak! I have 2 separate facilities 1 is a members only range facility consisting of a 200 yard rifle range, 5 pistol/multi purpose bays and a pond. I will have the member application on the website in the next few days and plan to open the range to members the first week of July.
The other is my training/match facility consisting of the following:
300 yard rifle range complete with cars, boulders, trees etc, to shoot from and around
35 x 25 yard training bay
25 x 50 4 sided bay for carbine and vehicle work
4 pistol bays for matches
I will continue to add to the capabilities of the facility and have plans for a shoot house and driving track soon. I have 33 acres to work with and the above mentioned ranges are using up about 7 acres.
I currently have some new courses scheduled at the new facility.
July 14 - 4 hour carbine course
July 18 - Low light pistol course
July 19 - first of a series of performance pistol courses geared toward competitive shooters.
July 27-28 I will be running a course with Kyle Defoor
