For Sale is a Used Forster Headspace Gage in 5.56 NATO. I have only used it once. This is the MINIMUM GAGE to check the minimum headspace required to fully seat 5.56 NATO Ammunition. Your rifle should close on this gage. If not, your chamber is too tight for maximum length 5.56 NATO ammunition. The length of this gage is 1.4636".
