First ground up build

This is my first ground up AR build, eventualy it will be a patrol/ ERU rifle. I put a Vortex strikefire on until I can afford a Short Dot or Swarovski z6. Rock River upper, lower, and internals. Daniel Defense 1-7 chrome lined 5.56 M4 profile barrel. Daniel Defense M4 12’’ rail. Magpul CTR. Ergo Tac grip. Magpul trigger guard. My most favorite part is the Smith Vortex, they are sweet. It took about 50 rounds before it quit short stroking, broke in and has been running great since. I Learned a few lessons the hard way, get a quality action vise block, and the best barrel nut wrench you can afford, still not bad for a novice first build. The only things I will be adding is BUIS ( havent decided between Troy or Magpul) and the Short Dot/ or Swarovski z6. I havent heard much about the Swarovski but have been a big Swaro fan. I have been putting their optics on hunting rifles since I discoverd quality matters. I origionaly had a Luepold Mrk 4 CQ/T mounted on this rifle but returned it to save for a better optic.

Properly staked the gas key and castle nut myself after reading about it on this forum. Punch and hammer goes along way! Pictures later!

Looks good, now off to the range.

trying to attach more pictures this is kindoff a pain in the ass.
