First Build. How does she look?

I have a DPMS, A1 style, KISS carbine that I shoot pretty often. I got the feel of it and decided that I didn’t like many of the features on the rifle, such as the fixed carry handle and sling position.

I kept this one simple. I practice often with a S&W M&P 15-22. I like the feel and wanted a 5.56 with a similar setup.

I’m probably going to do a paint job to help it blend in, and I plan on adding an T-1 whenever I can.

Looks great, just needs an optic and light. That would be a great candidate for a 12 oclock mounted Streamlight TLR-1 and a TA33 ACOG in my opinion.

I dig it.

Plan something similar but won’t be rocking a set of optics for a while. IMO - many people could benefit from learning to shoot a good set of irons first.

Not commenting on anyone here - just that I still enjoy lining up the post at speed and shooting that way.

Nice build. How do you like that daniel defence rear sight…ive been considering a fixed rear sight & have been looking at this quite a bit

The DD sight is very solid…along with all other DD stuff that I have tried. I really enjoy it. I’m big on fixed sights because of simplicity, and this one offered that with minimal rail space taken and will not be large enough to block any optics that I choose to mount in the future.
