FH's that make a 14.5" into a 16.1"?

Is there a list somewhere of all the FHs on the market that when pinned put a 14.5" barrel into the 16" legal length? I know from reading that the following do;

PWS FSC 556
Smith Enterprise vortex
AAC Blackout (Suppressor mount and non mount)
Rainier Arms XTC
YHM Phantom
Bravo Company A2X
VLTOR VC-1
Noveske KX3
Miculek
PRI MSTN QC Brake

Are there any others that meet the standard? For instance the KAC triple tap looks longer than the standard A2 (I could be wrong)…

Sabre Defense Make a extended A2 FH I had pinned on my Colt 14.5 barrel to bring it out to legal limit until AL overturns the SBR laws in the Senate now …well made and gives the stock look to the M4
if you look real close you can see the pin in the bottom ADCO did great job

BCM makes a very nice extended A2 flash hider which is already drilled and includes a pin.

Not a new option, but is the BCM A2X the Sabre extended A2?

BCM is where I bought my extended A2 FH from and it was listed as a Sabre Defense Item

I like the AAC Blackout and the SEI Vortex. Rings on the Blackout are narrow for drilling so silver solder or a spot weld may be the way to go. Vortex rings are wider and can be had predrilled for DIY

I’ve drilled several FH’s for welding and all I can say is “I’m glad I got that drill bit sharpener lasy year” :slight_smile:

Sounds like many of these companies would do well to offer a pre-drilled version with a properly sized pin. :confused:

All should. Some do. SEI offers a predrilled but you may have to wait til they do a run of them. BCM offers the extended A2 type birdcgae predrilled but no way it’s in the league of a Vortex or Blackout. Apples and oranges. The rings on the Blackout are both narrow and leave no margin for error when drilling and using a pin of the size commonly seen. And yes they are hard as hell and can be predrilled before hardening.
