I have an ERGO grip on one of my AR’s. Everytime I shoot it, the plug ends up hanging from the tether. How can I keep it from vibrating out? Or should I just cut it off because i don’t keep anything in the grip anyway.
deal with the dangle or cut off the strang. it will never work for storage.
if you want to store stuff get a Tango Down pistol grip or a MIAD. MIAD is best for storage, but i like the feel of the TD more… its good at storing batteries, but not much else.
also the TD stores batteries right out of the box, but the MIAD stores 3 spare rounds out of the box…if you want to keep batteries (or a bolt & FP) in the MIAD you need to buy a separate grip core.
the first thing i did to both my LMTs was swap the ergo for MIADs.
yeah,the ERGO has a great feel but the cap(and storage in general) is poor.
i switched to a MIAD because of it.
This ^ MIAD > everything else, period
love the feel of the ergo, but the storage stinks. Its so bad that the little foam core even fell out. It feels great though…

I like the grip. I don’t need the storage. So it sounds like cut it off. Got it!!

I have had a Ergo grip for sveral years now. I bought the cap, it fell off during the first day of training I used it never to be seen again. Nor missed. Forget the cap.
Me too. The Ergo went off, MIAD when on. I don’t like the ERGO grip - feels like I am holding, uh - don’t know - something I don’t want to hold. :eek:
