Eotech offset RMR

Got a good idea/ question for the tactical samurai out there.

So I’m a big believer in BUIS sights. Changing my car I’ve set up abit for a few reasons and noticed a few on here and I even commented on one in particular that I’m was kind of confused about and got my answer about using risers and buis.

Anyways without rambling on too much I’m a lefty now( wasn’t before long story) and one handed ( same story but still long) and I still wanna run back up irons and I’m switching my Aimpoint out for an eotech. I also want to run a riser like the new unity but they don’t offer it in lefty so I kinda thought why doesn’t any run an RMR offset instead? Some people have extras and after I buy an acro I will and if I’m running running a RISR and I can’t run sights which to be honest would get tricky running one hand on the offset wouldn’t be better to just run the RMR on the offset?

Your post is not easy to understand. Are you asking why people don’t run an offset RMR as a backup sight to an EOTech?

Yes, sorry. I use a phone because it’s easier and sometimes everything gets piled together

Why do you need a riser for your Eotech?

I want it so I can have my head at a better position, figure it’ll help with my situation

And how will the offset RMR help with your situation? In a QCB situation BU sights are worthless. Learn to point and shoot without sights.

Get the EXPS series and roll with it. You don’t need a riser. It’s already elevated. It is already damn near 1.93 height mounts. Standard flip down iron sights work with it.

Riser all the things

Why? Seriously.

I don’t think I have seen an Eotech placed in front of a scope before.

P

That is purely for representative purposes only. Not for use. To show the relationship between the EXPS and a 1.83 scope height.

Nods mostly. But a more heads up shooting position is certainly advantageous while shooting and moving.

I’ll buy the NODs use certainly.

Or if you only have one eye.

That gives me a headache thinking about losing your dominant eye. I can see where a tall mount would make him shooting possible.

Unity’s EOTech riser is ambidextrous.

It’s not am I they only have it with a right side offset buis, I asked
