Pretty much as expected, and the GOP lost ground in a major way. Even Fox is pretty much doom and gloom. Promises made by Trump and GOP, and not delivered, wars, higher costs, etc. FL however seems to have won the important positions as GOP.
Despite going nearly all Blue, NC managed to vote forward two tax limiting constitutional amendments plus one more with additional voter ID requirements.
I think this demonstrates how fickle most people are.
My concern was, and is, the potentially disastrous impact with state legislatures and governorships being all blue. Redistricting, anti-school choice, tax increases, all kinds of bad things coming.
Trump was given a blank check and decided to use it to start a war for Israel. This dragged Republicans down across the country.
I said it would happen. Hope bombing Iran was worth it seeding the nation to communists.

Republicans still hold control of the state Senate, so it all depends on if they have balls or not. I’m not optimistic.

The problem is he delivered on a lot. More than others. It’s just most US citizens have no ability to look at the big picture and see that along with no long term memory. “What have you done for me lately” has always been the mindset which is why it always happens in the midterms.
If higher costs is on their mind, but then fail to remember when during the Biden/Kamala era, they had record inflation and gas was actually higher. People are stupid.

I thought the Republicans would hold onto the U.S. Senate, but apparently not.
In this country, at this time, there is no viable third party. If you’re pissed at Republicans then your only choice is the whacka-doodle, illegal-and-freak-loving, commie far Left. No one wants to “waste” their vote on, say, the Constitution Party because it will probably give you Demoshits as a result. Of course with more parties it is actually possible to have 1/3 +1 (i.e. 34%) of voters deciding the country’s path forward. Quite the conundrum….
This is going to be an interesting two years coming up to say the least.
This. After FJB let in 20 million illegals DJT shut down the border and we have had negative immigration. Which is his biggest accomplishment and don’t think for a second the next demonrat administration won’t open it back up. But hey, let’s all vote Left to lower the cost of living because the Dems have a stellar track record of doing so. Just look at NYC, LA and Chicago…..um wait.

I am shocked at how bad they got their asses handed to them. It is so across the board that it almost is beyond belief. If it comes out at some point in the future that the election was altered by serious anti American players I would not be in shock. I am not saying that is what happened.
I think Trump “F”ed up the war with Iran because his ego told himself that he could break the junta and that they would beg Trump for an exit to Moscow. That didn’t happen, so now Iran more than likely will be free to restart their nuke program, and I have little faith in the leadership post election in Israel and I have no doubt that the puppet Bibi put in charge of the Mossad is gutting that place to the point it will take decades to rebuild.
