Anyone know if pinnacle armor is selling their Dragon Skin to civilians? Just wonder if they are going to the civi market if the military is balking at using them.
I don’t know for sure, one way to find out is to contact them directly.
I would venture to bet they are EXTREMELY expensive compared to everything else on the market. Although; from what I saw on FutureWeapons, it might just be the ticket home!

Its heavier than conventional plates
$1600 for 10x12 plates and $5700 for a SPEAR/BALCS cut set.
it is flexible – its biggest bonus.
I have a set for one of my rigs.
The DragonSkin appears to be heavier, because it covers more area of the body–the DragonSkin armor we have tested has been lighter than conventional plates when comparing equivalent size coverage areas.

but also I’ve been cheating with Poly plates recently so that is where I see the weight
