On your latest diagram (annotating Fig. 4), I’m not seeing where you have marked carrier displacement minus receiver displacement at .050". It looks like you’re marking .5ms from the onset of carrier relative motion (rather than the peak carrier pressure point).
It’s really hard to have a technical conversation without a real-time whiteboard.
Figs. 4 and 8 may be inconsistent , since significant carrier motion seems to start at t=.25ms in Fig 4., and t=.5ms in Fig. 8. This may be causing the difference in our time values for the peak pressure point minus carrier disp = .050 point - yours being .5ms , mine being .25ms
Anyway, this is minor, and I am interested in your carbine modeling results.
