Dillon 750 priming system

I know the 750 priming system had issues when it first came out. Can anyone verify if they’ve solved the issues? I’m thinking of grabbing one this year.

No Idea. I’ve not heard any complaints. I thought the old 550b priming system was the pinnacle of suck. Mine has been decommissioned for decades.

I am barely involved in reloading. I also have a 550b with the priming feature disabled.

Might just be my inexperience talking but brass prep, decapping, and priming seem best left as a separate process from loading. Other than speed, what am I missing. I’m guessing they put that feature on the machines due to demand, but I’ve never loaded that way. Not that I am an expert, barely even a beginner.

I like to prime separately from loading. I’m hoping to get to a point where I can divide prep, priming, and loading. What I’m looking for in a 750 is the casefeeder to minimize brass handling. And if all goes well, maybe even a bullet feeder.

While I agree 110% on the 550 priming system I did buy a complete new system last year when Dillon had there sale. I have loaded about 2K 9mm since then and it ran perfect, how long that will last is yet to be seen. I have so much 9mm loaded I prob won’t even think about it till Fall or even Winter. As far as rifle rds 223/5.56 I size on my single stage, hand prime then load on my 550 and it goes pretty good. I have a case feeder for it and it works good. All the bigger calibers are done on my single stage Hornady Lock-N-Load.

Exactly the way I run my 550. Primed brass only. So much lower stress and chances for mistakes.
