My current setup: noveske 10.5 swtchblock, DD ris ii rail.
thinking of selling it to build a 7" noveske, seekins 12" rail.
or
10.5 noveske with lowpro gas block with 15" seekins rail
btw: I have a sdn6. Sdn6 is 7.7"

5.56 guns should never be shorter than 10.3"
Just my opinion

Then why do they make the diplomat? Do you think it won’t be reliable?
Can’t say for sure if you should go shorter, but… if I was to go shorter than 10.5 inches, the KX3 would be standard equipment, for reliability sake.
And, FWIW, my basic 10.5 inch Noveske upper with the pig on the end, has never failed, no matter the ammunition. I attribute that to the KX3 on the end of it, which seems to be a great equalizer.
YMMV, yada yada…
So do you think 7 is too short for my can, can’t it stabilize in that short length?
